So the last couple of weeks we have been working on a leak that started from the bathroom and ended in the kitchen. The kitchen ceiling had a ton of water damage and this last time the water was coming out of the light fixture so we decided it was time to do something.
The hole started out small, but ended up being really big (the whole ceiling). Now you can see the bottom of the tub from the kitchen. So we will be putting up a new ceiling soon. Then painting it so I thought if we are painting should we just pain everything new?
Here are pictures of my kitchen. As of now the walls are yellow and the counters are dark green. Any suggestions on a new look?

I didn't realize that your entire kitchen ceiling is gone! You poor thing! Do you still have no light in there? You can come and cook at my house if you want to... :) I think you should paint it tan or some neutral color.
If you do paint it i had a friend who had yellow walls in her kitchen and greenish counter tops so she colored the walls a darkish red and themed it around apples. Its way cute.
I'll have to call you and tell you what I learned from the interior design program so far. Usually I charge for my advice, but I'll try to be nice since you are my sister, which I love!
