Weekend with the Frecker Family

This past weekend we got to hang out with the Frecker Family. We surprised them by pretty much just showing up with all our snow gear. I wanted Justin to take me skiing and it ended up being a really sunny weekend.
We played in the snow for 3 straight days and games every night.
Friday we tackled the snow hill and turned it into a sled shoot.

Then we built a snowman.
Daisy and Grandma Pam gave our snowman a family. They worked on it until dark.

Saturday we went to Kelly Canyon to go skiing. We decided to take Daisy with us. This was her first time skiing. She did so good. I should have video taped it.

Justin and I on the ski lift.
It was a great day for skiing and it was supper fun!

Sunday we went to church and as soon as we got home the kids were back in their snow stuff playing on the hill along with Justin.

Look what they built! An awesome tunnel right through the snow hill!

To top off the weekend we had a party with my parents and brother, Tyler, and his family. We played games and watched the Super Bowl.
I love being able to spend time with my family. It is great to be home!

We are still here

It has been so long since I have added anything to this blog. We are all still here and doing great! We have been busy busy with everything--work, play, school and home stuff. But we finally got a good Internet connection with my computer so perhaps I can do better, shall we say a new years resolution.

We are loving Montana. It is so beautiful. The sunsets, the rainbows, the open skies and the mountains.

We moved out of our little rental and found a bigger rental. We love it so much. Has lots of space and privacy. It is located up on a hill and our driveway is close to half a mile from the main road. I can hardly wait until spring to see what grows around our new home.

Here is what we see from our house and yard.

Following are some of the things we have been doing:

Daisy started Kindergarten and she gets to ride the school bus everyday.

Labor Day weekend is a big deal here in Dillon. There is a fair all week long and rodeos followed by a parade on Monday. It was so much fun to be involved with something we like so much.
Daisy got to do Muttin' Bustin' during one of the rodeos (That is riding a full grown sheep)

Halloween was fun. We had a great Halloween Party with my family and went pumpkin picking.
Here is the other set of Halloween costumes. Warm ones for a chilly night.
Daisy lost her first tooth. She was so proud!
Christmas this year, this was as close as the girls wanted to get to Santa.
Violet was scared taking one look and turning in a screaming run. Lily said she wanted to sit on Santa's lap, but stood there frozen to the ground. Daisy looked that Santa up and down and said I don't want to talk to that Santa he is fake. SILLY GIRLS.
The Girls are in Dance again and they are loving the costumes and dance shoes.
They take ballet and tap. They do a great job!

We love to spend time out in the mountains and snow playing around on the snowmobiles and sleds.
We also love that we can have horses at our house and can ride when ever we please.
Violet is not afraid of the horses at all!
Good or bad?

Lily was a fierce hitter. It was really funny.
Yes! finally it broke and they got CANDY!
Lily was so funny. she wouldn't just grab the candy and stick it in her bag like all the others. She picked through it all and only picked her favorites.
