Saturday Morning Justin and I had the oportunity to attend the LDS Palmyra Temple with my parents and brother Tyler. The temple was beautiful here are some photos of the outside.
We brought the kids back after so they could see how beautiful it is. Daisy is reading her missionary booklet. She has been latching on the the missionaries who have been giving tours. We went to a book store and they had little missionary tag. Daisy got one and she was our Sister Rhodes missionary.
After the temple we ventured over to the Hill Cumorah. There we visited the visiter's center which helped us to remember the great restoration that took place.
We then travelled serveral miles over the the Martain Harris Farm in Fayette and to the cabin were the first meeting of the LDS church began. I really enjoyed seeing the simplisity of their lives and of the great sacrifice people were willing to give to know and support the truthfulness of the gospel.
I hope that I will be willing to give and do the things that are asked of my by my Savior Jesus Christ.
