What do you think?

So I have gotten rather tired of picking up my girls clothes. Piles and Piles of clothes. They are both going through this stage of changing their clothes many times a day or going through all their clothes to find the perfect outfit. So yesterday I locked all their clothes in the closet. I just put all their clothes (except PJ's and socks) in baskets and locked it up. Is that crazy? I like them to be independent and get ready themselves, but I can't take the clothes any more.

Violet is 4 months

So I can hardly beleive Violet is 4 months old now. Time has gone by. She is so adorable and so smiley. She loves to use her voice and talk to us. She is so sweat and good. She loves her attention and to be held. She also loves her kisses.
She is starting to learn how to use her bouncer.

She has also started to eat some solids. You can't tell by this face, but she loves to eat. And is getting pretty good at it.

This clip is so cute. Lily is such a cutie too.

tubing

We finally got enough snow that we could go tubing. We bundled up the girls and went out to play. First we went to a little hill we thought the little girls would enjoy. Not to big so they could run up it themselves and go down without a fright.

Then we met up with some friends, the Wildes, on a much larger hill. It was a blast. And Daisy thought it was great. She even went down all by herself.

After we came home we finished cooking our Turkey dinner and had more friends join us, Johnsons and Hawkins, to bring in the new year and celebrate one last semester together. We sure are going to miss all our great friends we have made here.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. It was very relaxing for us.
Here is our Lovely tree before we dug into the gifts.

Checking out stuff from Santa

Daisy with her Sleigh bell

Opening gifts (Notice Lily already has clothes on)

The girls opened up some dancing stuff and had to put it right on. It was fun that they would open a gift and enjoy it for a while before they wanted to open up another.

The munchkins all wrapped up in their towels I made. Lily carried it around like a blanket all day.

Daisy Doing Lily's Hair and make up with her new present.

Daisy's new dress. I think she changed non stop all day long.

Here is Lily all snuggled up with her new care bears and kitty.

Here is every ones loot from Christmas:

I didn't take pictures for the rest of the day. We had a great Christmas dinner and just stayed at home hanging out and playing with all our stuff. This will be a memorable Christmas for us.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we dressed up for the nativity story. Daisy was Mary, I was Joseph, Violet was Baby Jesus, Lily was a sheep, and Justin was our narrator. It was so cute. We ended up doing it several times throughout the week because Daisy wanted us each to take turns being different characters.

Isn't this just a gorgeous picture.

Lily Loved playing with her nativity set.
Violet enjoyed her first bottle while Daisy feed her.

Before the girls headed off to bed we connected with the Stucki family and opened presents.
