Our Weekly Update

Monday
This week Justin began his spring break from school. He was excited to get the time to work on the saddle. I finished another pair of chinks.

I also go to go to 27 Dresses, a movie, with Rochelle and Krystal. It is always good to go out with friends.

Tuesday
Daisy went back to school. She was so excited to get back. She said she had been gone "sooo long."
Wednesday
I worked in flower garden. I can't get over how good it feels to get out side in the dirt. I ended up bagging eight lawn bags. That was a lot of leaves and stuff. And the job's not quite done, but we can see more flowers and new flowers are blooming daily.

We also planted some peas in the vegetable garden. So much to look forward to.

Thursday
Justin finished his saddle he was working on.

Daisy had Dance and of course she loves every moment of dancing. The Hawkins came over and we played games. It was good to be able to play an adult game again. We usually got to play games with the family when we were back home. One of our favorite past times, playing games.
Friday
Daisy had a field trip with the pre-school to Lake Farm Park. Justin was still off school and the saddle was finished so we decided to all go. Our kids loved to see the animals.

We saw all kinds of animals: chickens, lamas, lot of sheep, cows, pigs, horses, and more. My favorite was the baby pigs. They were so funny. And of course the baby lambs were adorable too. It was fun petting them. These big sheep were funny too. They kept ramming their heads together. Daisy had fun. I had a hard time getting good pictures of her. She wanted to be off with the teachers. She adores her teacher. Also the camera had bad batteries so getting a picture at all was a challenge.

Here is the science center and the class listening about sheep. Daisy also got to milk a cow. (one of the pictures that wouldn't take) She thought that was pretty cool. We had a fun time together.
Saturday
We headed over to the Stake center to watch the morning session of conference. We took a picnic for afterwards and ate at the church yard by the river. It was so nice out side. It was good to just relax out in the sun and play out doors. The girls loved exploring and plying in the trees.

Sunday
We headed up to the church again for the first session and had another picnic afterward because we loved it so much yesterday. Conference was so wonderful. There was great talks and inspiring words. I can't wait until the issue comes out so I can read and hear the words again.

Looks like another fun week for you guys! The saddle looks amazing... I still can't believe that he can make those! Maybe next time we'll be brave and watch a session with the kids at the church... I just can't imagine them sitting still for that long!
