I realized it has been a while since I have posted. During Spring break this year we made a trip to Virgina so Justin could take his boards for Dental school. We also thought it would be a great opportunity to go see Washington D.C. since it has been one of the things I would like to see.
Here is the Washington L.D.S Temple. It was beautiful. And the girls loved going through the visitors center and visiting with the missionaries.
We also went and saw the Washington Monument.
From the Monument you could see the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, and the Capitol Building. I thought it was pretty cool to say I have seen them. Too bad we didn't have more time to actually go through them.
We did go through the Natural History Museum. We saw lots of cools things: animals, dinosaurs, jewels, bones, and lots more.
We had a great time as a family and now we can say we have been to Washington D.C.

How fun. The DC temple has always been my favorite. That was the one my parents always went to while we lived in New York. How did Justin do on his boards?
That must have been such a fun trip. The museum looks so fun!! I can't believe how big the girls have gotten!! They are beautiful!
It looks like you all had fun! My younger brother served his mission there and talked about some really neat sites. I can't wait to go one day. Where are the flower statues?
Very cool!!
too bad they didn't have a flower for each of your girls!
That looks like a lot of fun! That is so neat to be able to go visit those historic sites!
Justin and Anna... you're girls have gotten so big and they are adorable! Hey I'm trying to get invites out for our 10 year class reunion... can you believe it?! I need your email addy.... so if you can just drop me a line j.jaydee23(at)gmail... we're planning for June 6th at the city park if you can make it :) Even if you can't send me an email so I can get you an invite to our blog too :)
Okay, it's really sinking in that everyone is gone... I don't know if I'm going to be able to do this! I miss you so much. Now that you're so far away, you HAVE to blog for me.
I think my kids have told me they miss Daisy and Lily at least a dozen times a week since you left... even when we were in Utah. Graham will come in and say, "Mommy, I miss Lily." And Gracie thinks that you moved to "Hannah Montana"!
We love you!
Anna,
I was just thinking about you and hope that your little family is doing well. Please keep us updated on this end of the country... you are a good friend and your family is truly missed. We wish you the best with your new endeavors and hope to hear from you soon!
