Friday and Saturday we decided to go camping and take advantage of a Friday with no school. We went to Findley State Park. We, along with Jeremiah and Diane Hawkins, thought we would make it a 'birthday' trip. Diane's birthday was Wed. and Lil's was Sat. We had a great time.
We started out the trip with a huge rainstorm! We backed into our camping area and it began. The men quickly pulled out a tarp and covered our stuff that was still in the back of the pickup. It started hailing ice balls the size of large marbles. It was crazy. Good thing it didn't last to long.

Lily spent some time in this fun chair because there were large mud puddles she would definatly find in no time.

Daisy thought the hamick was a great place to hang out.

Now how are we going to set up this fandangled thing?

I don't think this is going to work....After they finally figured it out, we went for a walk. We all put on our ponchos and pulled down our fancy rain block for the stroller; we were off. Just as we started, it began to rain and it pored! If it wasn't under the pancho it was soaked. We ended up with 3 1/2 in of rain in an hour of being there. But after the storms it was beautiful.

Lily and Daisy digging in the dirt. They loved being out doors and getting dirty.

Lily had an accident. She fell off her chair and face planted in the mud. She wasn't very happy.

Diane loved spending time around the fire.
Daisy and Jeremiah spent time swinging and telling stories.
